Cooks River Birds – 21 July 2024

I was heading to a nice luncheon at Earlwood. It was at a townhouse near Waterworth Park, so I walked there along the Cooks River with enough time to look for and photograph some birds.

Here are some birds I saw on my walk –

Little Black Cormorant

White-faced Heron

Eastern Rosella

Galahs

Sacred Kingfisher

It coughs up a pellet –

Welcome Swallow

Willie Wagtail

Sacred Kingfisher

Little Pied Cormorant

White-faced Heron

Australasian Figbird

Yellow-faced Honeyeater

At the lunch party – a very worthwhile campaign.

And a few more photos taken on the walk home.

Australasian Darter

Not good! A Little Pied Cormorant –

The blue band is just visible in the photo below (at the water level) –
