Mudlarks – Cooks River Bird Survey – 11 November 2025

I took part in the Bird Survey along the Cooks River with the Mudlarks. This month the survey was the upstream loop – to the Boat Harbour and Cup and Saucer Creek Wetlands.

We saw a good range of birds, including quite a few baby birds.

After the survey, and morning tea, some of the group went to the nearby Cricket Net area to see if we could spot the Tawny Frogmouth family. We soon spotted them.
