Fungi and More – Terrys Creek and the Lane Cove River – 5 June 2026

I wanted to get an update on fungi along Terrys Creek and along a section of the Lane Cove River, so I caught the metro up to Epping and was soon wallow along the Terrys Creek Track. I walked down to Browns Waterhole on the Lane Cove River and then crossed over to the north side and followed the track to the DeBurgh Bridge and then later caught a bus which went to Macquarie University Station.

Along Terrys Creek, I was fortunate to spot two Powerful Owls in different areas. It is Riley that these owls are partners of ones in a nearby nesting hollow. I also some fungi.
