It was time for another visit to Nurragingy Reserve. Sue joined me and we had pleasant day, but we did not spot the two keys species we had been hoping to see – Azure Kingfishers and Pacific Bazas.

When we arrived, we spotted two turtles on the side of the main duck pond.

And near another pond was a Brush Turkey –

Water Dragon

At one spot, we heard a strange noise. We looked where it came from and spotted two Rainbow Lorikeets flying off. We saw a baby Rainbow Lorikeet long out of a hollow. It must have just been fed.

In the usual; spot, we spotted a Tawny Frogmouth. But just one. Perhaps its mate in nesting nearby?

We later saw the Brush Turkey again, but this time it appeared to be having a dirt bath.

And one last Turtle shot –
