Birds at Birdwood Gully – 3 September 2026

I was on my way to my sister’s place at Hazelbrook, and broke my journey at Springwood and wandered down Birdwood Gully to see what birds were about. I had been hoping to see a Powerful Owl family, but had no luck, although I did see a fair bit of their “whitewash” showing at least one Powerful Owl had been around. But the other birds I spotted were nice.
