I was on a Fungi Survey at Ferndale Park – part of the activities program of the Sydney Fungal Studies Group Inc. Members and visitors met at the end of one of roads near the park – and we were soon on our way along the track down Swaines Creek.
We soon spotted some fungi. Fungi was quite abundant, but also well past its best. A lot of it was falling to bits or had dried out.

The group finished off around 1 pm. It had been a good survey with a fair amount of interesting fungi observed.
I would like to thank Nicholas Yu from Willoughby Council for granting permission for the group to undertake the survey.
