Fungi at Wolli Creek – 31 May 2023

I went on a morning trip to Wolli Creek to check the status of the fungi. I first looked on the upstream part of the track – west of Hartill Law Street, without finding very much out. So I then went to Girrahween Park and walked downstream towards the rock climbing area where we had seen good fungi recently.

This area proved to be astonishingly  good considering that it has been quite dry recently. Here is some of the fungi I saw –

Gliophorus sp.

Cuphophyllus austropratensis

Gliophorus graminicolor

Humidicutis viridimagentea

Gliophorus graminicolor

Gliophorus sp.

The Clavulinopsis amoena is looking a bit old –

And then I found some fresh waxcaps out, in a moist place. Hygrocybe anomala var. ianthinomarginata

Scleroderma sp.

And the Ramariopsis crocea is starting to look dry –
