Cooks River Birds – 5 March 2023

I decided to do walk down part of the Cooks River and then walk back the same way. I started from Illawarra Road and walked as far down as the Tempe Wetlands, and then I returned back to Illawarra Road.

Here are some birds I saw along the way –

Little Pied Cormorants

Eastern Rosellas

Noisy Miner

King Parrots

Sacred Kingfisher

This Sacred Kingfisher was very hard to photograph!

Masked Lapwing

Noisy Miners

Four Noisy Miners were having a “sand” bath.

Magpie Lark

Little Pied Cormorant
