Long Reef Birds – 5 August 2026

This was another bird photography trip to Long Reef. When I arrived, about lunchtime, I spotted an Osprey perched on the top of the cliffs. It was eating a fish.

Raptors at Long Reef – 2 August 2026

Despite a late start, due to attending a bird survey in Wolli Creek Regional Park, I had a very worthwhile visit to Long Reef. When I arrived, it was relatively quiet, but then a Nankeen Kestrel appeared and started hunting.
