I went down to the Cooks River to see what the king high tide would be like. The water level was very high indeed – and over the banks in places.
I took my camera along a took a few photos of the river, but I was concentrating on the birds. I went to the Boat Harbour, where there always seem to be plant of birds, and sure enough there were lots of gulls, ducks and cormorants. No pelicans this time. Continue reading
