I was again on the Cooks River. This time I was walking downstream from Illawarra Road on the way to a luncheon I was attending. I took a camera and recorded some of the birds I saw along the way.
Very close to where it had been the day before, was the juvenile Channel-billed Cuckoo.

It was easy to spot as it was constantly calling for food.

A few White-faced Herons were nearby –

And I spotted a pair of Tawny Frogmouths at Gough Whitlam Park –

These Noisy Miners were making a racket –
