Tempe Wetlands – 21 September 2018

I was meeting friends for lunch, but that left the morning free for some local photography, so I headed to the Tempe Wetlands to see what was out.

I spent a very enjoyable two hours there. I photographed some of the usual honeyeaters –

New Holland Honeyeater

Yellow-faced Honeyeater

White-plumed Honeyeater

And some of the other birds –

Silvereye

Red-browed Finch

Spotted Pardalote

Reed Warbler

Black-faced Cuckoo-shrike

Welcome Swallows

Superb fairy-wren

Noisy Miner

The warm weather was bring our some of the reptiles. I have often seen Blue-tongued Lizards at the Wetlands, but had never been able to photograph them before. So I was pleased to find one enjoying the sun.

And a Water Skink –
