Another early morning bird survey. This time with the Greenway Bird Group surveying the Greenway between Taverners Hill and Hawthorne Light Rail Stations. Thissection of the Greenway follows Hawthorne Canal.
Here are some of he birds we spotted –
New Holland Honeyeater
Golden Whistler
Striated Heron
White-faced Heron
And here is one of two male Red-rumped Parrots
