I visited two places to photograph birds. First was a visit to Rookwood Necropolis, mainly to see the Brown Goshawk chicks again. Then on the way home, I got off the train at Canterbury and walked down the Cooks River to see the Tawny Frogmouths.

At Rookwood, as I was walking into the Necropolis, I could hear a Brown Goshawk calling. I soon spotted an adult bird perched in a pine tree. Continue reading
